AGPAL Victorian Practice of the Year 2002-2003 Federation Clinic was honoured with the title of Victorian state finalist in the RACGP/AGPAL Australian Practice of the Year awards in October 2002.
This followed our AGPAL accreditation visit in July 2002 when we were encouraged by the Chairman of AGPAL to enter for the Practice of the Year awards.
In his letter to the clinic Dr Aloizos said that "we would like to congratulate you and your staff as being brought to AGPAL's attention by our surveyors as being a potential practice of the year." Comments in that accreditation report included: - "this is a high quality practice that is committed to continuous quality improvement."
- "The practice maintains excellent systems in all areas, the clinic is physically well designed, superbly equipped with personnel trained to the highest standards."
- "All the recommendations from the last report have been implemented and there is evidence of much innovation."
- "The practice doctors and staff are commended for the work done in maintaining accreditation and working towards improvements in their general practice."
