FEES
Federation Clinic fees reflect the costs of running a high quality General Practice. Overheads are constantly increasing but we endeavour to keep out-of-pocket expenses for patients to a minimum.
Medicare rebates largely cover many of the clinic's fees however some costs are not covered by Medicare or Private Health Funds. These include certain vaccines, dressings and the use of expensive medical equipment.
BULK BILLING is only available at the discretion of individual Doctors and is mainly reserved for aged, disability and veterans affairs pensioners.
HEALTH CARE CARD holders are charged a discounted fee.
PROCEDURAL FEES vary according to complexity and equipment used. Most procedures are subject to a Medicare rebate which will cover most of the cost. A non-rebateable fee is charged to cover instrument use and maintenance, dressings and other consumables. Procedures are generally not bulk-billed.
