MEDICAL STUDENTS

Federation Clinic has been involved in the teaching of medical, midwifery and nursing students for more than 30years. During 2018 we are hosting a number of medical students who will have the opportunity to experience and participate in the services provided here at Federation Clinic. Some patients will be invited to have a medical student be involved in their consultation as part of this teaching process. A consent form will be offered at reception. This process is voluntary. We greatly appreciate the assistance patients provide through this invaluable teaching experience for our students.

AFTER-HOURS

After-hours services are provided by doctors of this clinic in association with doctors from Wodonga West Medical Clinic and Central Medical Group. A recorded message on the Federation Clinic telephone number (02) 6059 2500 will provide the details and contact number for the doctor on-call.

PRACTICE IMPROVEMENTS

As part of ongoing Practice improvements, we have installed new day/night roller blinds throughout the clinic. These blinds were selected to maximise external natural light whilst still providing maximum privacy.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

In an emergency please call '000'.

Every effort is made to keep appointments running to time, however, due to the unpredictable nature of our work this is not always possible. Patients are encouraged to contact us prior to an appointment to check that the schedule is running to time.

Please give thought to the amount of time your appointment may require. If there are multiple or complex issues that need discussion, please let reception know when booking your appointment so that sufficient time can be allocated with the doctor.
