TEST RESULTS

Results of a medical test can be obtained 3-4 days after the test is done. Your doctor will advise on how long the results are likely to take. Phone the Clinic before 5.00pm. In the interest of patient privacy we require confirmation of identity when giving results over the phone.
Office staff are permitted to pass on only what the Doctor has recorded and cannot interpret results.
Printed Copy: Staff may supply the result directly to you or an authorised person. The written copy must always include the doctor's brief comment. Results cannot be posted for legal reasons.
We encourage people who have had a Pap smear or breast imaging to obtain and keep a written copy of the results.

To reduce the chance of a significant result not reaching you please ensure you personally contact the clinic for your results.
DO NOT ASSUME THE CLINIC WILL CONTACT YOU.
Be absolutely certain you understand what follow up is recommended.

SPEAKING TO YOUR DOCTOR

In the interest of running to time, calls are not routinely put through to the Doctors. If you need to speak with your Doctor, please contact the Clinic and leave your name and phone number with the receptionist. Your Doctor will call you back at the end of the consulting session.
