MINOR SURGERY

Doctors at the clinic are all trained and experienced in performing minor surgical procedures including:
  • Excision of skin lesions such as skin cancers, cysts and moles.
  • Insertion and removal of hormone and contraceptive implants and intrauterine contraceptive devices(IUDs).
  • Repair of skin lacerations.

Surgical procedures are carried out safely in a treatment room equipped with operating table, sterile instruments and surgical drapes and dressings.
Systems minimising risk of cross infection and contamination have been implemented wherever possible. All non-disposable instruments are washed immediately after use, packed in special transparent bags and sterilised in our modern autoclave. A tracking system is used to verify and record that each instrument has gone through the correct sterilisation process.
