Keeping COVID Safe

As per requirements mandated by the Department of health, from midnight on 02/07/2020 all people, who can do so, are required to wear a face mask when outside of their home. This includes when attending the clinic. There are sometimes suitable reasons for not wearing a face mask, including relevant medical conditions and for children under 12yo.    If you do not have a face mask, and are unable to access one, we can provide one for you.  Alternatively, a scarf or other face covering is a suitable alternative to a mask if you do not have one.

The Coronavirus pandemic is a challenging time for everyone across the community. Federation Clinic is committed to continuing to provide high quality healthcare to our patients during this period, things are just being done a little differently than usual to help keep our staff and patients safe.

Triage requirements for your appointment:

It is very important that all people attending the clinic advise reception PRIOR TO ENTERING THE BUILDING of any of the following:

  • If you are experiencing ANY cold, flu or respiratory symptoms, including sore throat, runny nose, fever or loss of taste
  • If you have travelled to a COVID hotspot in the past 14 days
  • If you have returned from overseas in the past 14 days
  • If you have had contact with someone with a CONFIRMED case of COVID in the past 14 days

Arriving at the Clinic:

When you arrive at the clinic, please come into the building and attend at reception. You will then be provided with further instructions about where to wait until your doctor or nurse is ready to see you.

We encourage everyone remain vigilant with ensuring good hand hygiene and social distancing. If you have any questions, please call our reception team on (02) 6059 2500.
